Here is my stump!!!! Vote Richardson (if I ever run)
1) Stop the war!!! Over 4,000 Americans have lost their lives. We need to end the war and improve relationships with other countries. The money we spend on the war could be used to invest in our country’s infrastructure and the other three points below. I can’t even begin to discuss what the loss of lives has caused this country. Only those that know the soldiers best could answer that question.
2) Invest in our educational system. The jobs of the future are going to require us to have an advanced education. We need to improve our public schools and invest in research at the college level. We also need to find ways that the colleges and high schools can work together to help better prepare our kids for their future.
3) Alternative energy. We need to remove ourselves from oil addiction. We must might cost effective mans to provide long term energy for this country. No one means will work, but each geographic region must look at its resources and determine what will work best for that region. In this aspect, I think it will require all peoples working together to reach this goal.
4) Health Care. Too many Americans do not have proper health care, and those that do just can’t afford the care they have. Medical expenses have continued to out pace the coverage provided. We need to control spiraling costs and help Americans increase it quality of life.
I think if a Democrat is elected to the White House we can tackle these issues and get the kind of changes we need. This is a great country, we just want to make it even better for EVERYONE in this country.

There are local democratic clubs you can also join. Here are two that I have been going to.
The Grand Strand – Horry Democratic Club will meet the first Friday of the month at Luigi’s Restaurant, 503 61st Ave North, at 1 PM. The second monthly meeting will be at 6:30 PM on the third Thursday (no meeting In May due to Bike Week) at Luigi’s to give those who work an opportunity to participate. Open to all democrats.
